Day 345 - 351 and Shop of the Week

Not far to go now! My Shop of the Week this week is Amazon - partly because I've been looking up novelty Christmas hats and jumpers (amazing) but also because they do a great range of jewellery on there and its not often somewhere many of us think of to look for that kind of thing. Plus they are very good at getting things sent out in time for Christmas. They have some great brands too like Kit Heath.

This week, top to bottom; pearl and flower necklace (hand made), long teardrop necklace (Jon Richard at Debenhams), chunky green bracelet (present), gold hoop earrings (Jon Richard at Debenhams), tigers eye and flower charm necklace (hand made) and blue bead earrings (hand made).

Day 338 - 344 and Shop of the Week

Now we're into December I can't believe we're nearly there. I am a bit shocked I've got this far and having done a count I know I also have enough to see me through the rest of the year, and the 10 days I missed at the start when I was ill. It's pretty scary!

My Shop of the week this week is actually Mothercare! I found the lovely Little Bird charm bracelet from the Jools Oliver range but they also do a really fab range of personalised jewellery too. It's not online but if you have a big store near you then they should have it in there. We'll definitely be investing next year!

This week its been, top to bottom, Little Bird charm bracelet (from Mothercare), Pansy necklace (from Florrie Willow on Asos), Pansy earrings (Florrie Willow on Asos), Triangle earrings (Jon Richard at Debenhams), Charm necklace (Accessorize), green crystal necklace (Accessorize) and green crystal earrings (Accessorize)

Day 331 - 337 and Shop of the Week

Still working through the necklace stash...I'll be moving on to bracelets soon!

As I get bigger and more obviously pregnant (plus its almost been six years since I met my husband) my thoughts are turning to personalised jewellery that really symbolises something special like an anniversary or the birth of a child...so this week my Shop of the Week is Chambers and Beau - I can't find one thing I don't want on their website!! I want it all!

This week (I've been wearing (top to bottom); Owl necklace (Topshop), multi stone necklace (can't remember where this is from!), multi-strand bead necklace (from antique shop), black and grey bead necklace (hand made), shades of brown pearls multi-strand necklace (hand made), purple bead and hematite bead necklace (hand made) and butterfly crystal necklace (present).

Day 324 - 330 and Shop of the Week

I'm still working through my recently discovered stash, many of which I made when I was first experimenting with jewellery or are from charity shops which very much personify what I've been wearing this week!

Shop of the Week this week is Literary Emporium. I stumbled upon this boutique on Twitter and I adore their book themed jewellery. My favourite is definitely the silver cloud charm necklace. It's so unusual and really well priced too.

This week I have been wearing (from top to bottom); blue bead and crystal necklace (hand made), pearl and silver bead necklace (hand made), black and silver bead necklace (hand made), silver bead necklace (hand made), chunky turquoise necklace (charity shop), green bead and wood necklace (charity shop, possibly originally from Next) and hematite bead necklace (hand made).

Day 317 - 323 and Shop of the Week

I've started to struggle now we're approaching the end of the challenge and being pregnant has left me pretty tired each day. Luckily I've found a stash of jewellery I had forgotten I even owned (eek!) so I think I've got enough to complete the challenge and make up for the 13 days I missed earlier in the year.

My Shop of the Week this week is Links of London purely because of their brilliant Movember range. Check out this amazing moustache charm! I am a big fan of Movember and think they have done incredibly well to not only run a brilliant campaign but also engage some incredible partners, such as Links.

This week I've been wearing a lot of necklaces, a fair bit of Accessorize and hand made pieces, top to bottom; red bead and button necklace (hand made), red bead necklace (Accessorize), blue, black and shell bead necklace (Accessorize), Russian doll necklace on chunky chain (hand made), turquoise and crystal necklace (hand made), natural bead necklace (hand made) and old and red bead necklace (hand made).

Day 310 - 316 and Shop of the Week

My Shop of the Week this week is dedicated to charity shops everywhere! I've discovered that I have a lot of bits and bobs that I picked up for next to nothing. It's sad that I probably only wore them once or twice and then forgot I had them but the joy of these pieces is that you can come back to them and maybe rework them into something else, a beaded necklace can become a bracelet or a pair of earrings for example! As they were so cheap there's no fear of what might happen if whatever you create doesn't work out!

No theme this week I am afraid! Lots of random odds and sods!! Top to bottom: multi charm necklace (Accessorize), shell and stone charm necklace (Next), Star pendant (Marks and Spencer's), silver and turquoise bird and bead bracelet (Sam Ubhi), long teal glass bead necklace (charity shop I think), silver oval necklace (not sure where this is from, maybe New Look?) and green glass bead necklace (charity shop, same as the teal one I wore earlier in the week)

Day 303 - 309 and Shop of the Week

There's a bit of a Hallowe'en theme to my jewellery this week - why not! On Wednesday itself I wore my fab Boo! earrings which I think I got from Etsy. I tried to continue the theme as much as I could this week, let me know what you think!!

My Shop of the week this week goes to Florrie Willow. We've been chatting on Twitter for some time and whilst I don't have any of her pieces (yet!) I really like the way she works and the flowers in her designs.

I'll definitely be ear marking some Christmas money for a shopping spree come January 1st 2013!! I love the necklace (pictured on the left) - its so pretty!

So, this week, top to bottom: Skull and crossbones necklace (Mikey in Topshop), Ceramic heart necklace (made by me using materials from Smitten Beads), Boo and ghost earrings (bought from seller on Etsy), Shell choker that looks a bit like an eye (charity shop), read heart-shaped bead necklace (charity shop), Gothic rose shell necklace (made by me) and yellow disc necklace that looks a tiny bit like pumpkins, maybe! (another charity shop find!)
