I bought this some time last year - I can't remember why but it might have been part of an 80s fancy dress costume or maybe a day when I was channelling Madonna in the late 80s or early 90s. It's from New Look and is a series of charms strung on a dark chain. There's a cross, a heart, a teardrop pendant and a crystal bead. I'm wearing it with a black dress and red cardi today - apologies for the excessive cleavage on display!!
Nice bit of poetry for you on a Friday! Ooh, and again!!

Day 198 - Sam Ubhi charm necklace
Day 125 - Marks and Spencers bracelet
This was part of my aforementioned M&S jewellery advent calendar - in fact, if I remember rightly, this was one of the early pieces and then in some of the other boxes were individual charms to hang on it - I'd forgotten that when I wrote the earlier post! The major design flaw being that you can only attach the charms on the one small hook by the T-bar clasp - the clasps used to attach them are too small so you could never wear the charms attached to the actual bracelet like a full charm bracelet. I think this is a huge flaw and a real shame as I would have worn more of the charms together. However this round one is the only one that I count as being a 'go with everything' classic...its my favourite one as its sparkly!
Day 108 - Butterfly bracelet
This bracelet was one of the presents in my Christmas Stocking last year, and I added the butterfly charm as there is a space to add something which I thought was areally nice touch. The butterfly was actually free with a jewellery making magazine so its nice to be able to use it with something like this. I'm wearing a black dress today with lots of purple accessories so this is a nice finishing element!
Day 54 - Accessorize charm necklace
Wow, so today I had to actually go through all the posts to check that I'd not worn this already and its only day 54. I dread to think what it's going to be like come day 289! Maybe I need to categorize my jewellery so that I know what has been worn and what hasn't!
I got this necklace not too long before I got married last year in the sale from Accessorize. I like that its got lots of colours that don't normally go together - its nice to wear it with an outfit that matches one of these colours so it brings it out in the necklace - in this case I went for red to match the rose, but its also done a great job of bringing the blue out as well. Double win!
