Day 168 - Handmade birdcage necklace

I made this using, surprise surprise, pieces I bought from Smitten Beads! I really like the swirly nature of the pendant and I've strung it on antique brass chain to make a long necklace.

I am going away for a bit so may not be able to do the next few days worth of posts as I don't know what access I'll get to the internet...but I'll save them all up and do them all when I get back!

Day 129 - Wired heart necklace

This was another of the pieces I made using the findings and pendants from Smitten Beads. Just a simple and classic necklace but I like the punky twist of having the heart made of twisted wire. I never used to wear non silver coloured jewellery (unless it was the rare piece of gold) but I really like the antiqued brass style of these pieces. Which is good as I got a few bits n bobs and I'll be wearing them!
