Day 331 - 337 and Shop of the Week

Still working through the necklace stash...I'll be moving on to bracelets soon!

As I get bigger and more obviously pregnant (plus its almost been six years since I met my husband) my thoughts are turning to personalised jewellery that really symbolises something special like an anniversary or the birth of a child...so this week my Shop of the Week is Chambers and Beau - I can't find one thing I don't want on their website!! I want it all!

This week (I've been wearing (top to bottom); Owl necklace (Topshop), multi stone necklace (can't remember where this is from!), multi-strand bead necklace (from antique shop), black and grey bead necklace (hand made), shades of brown pearls multi-strand necklace (hand made), purple bead and hematite bead necklace (hand made) and butterfly crystal necklace (present).

Day 177 - Red bead necklace

I made this a while ago and thought I'd wear it today as I've got a nice red dress on. Its just three strands of simple red seed beads interspersed with some red cube shaped beads. Nothing too fancy, but when its this humid you don't want anything too fiddly do you!

Day 126 - handmade amber crystal necklace

I made this a couple of summers ago - I wanted something that worked well when it was nice and sunny and I really liked these stones. Its three strands strung so you can wear them all tangled together (like I have here) or at different lengths. It's really tactile and I love wearing it - if only we had the weather to match...

Day 80 - long grey beaded multistrand necklace

This was one of my charity shop finds. The light is realyl bad but I was in a huge rush this morning so I couldn't re-take the photo! It's a 5 strange long necklace made up of different size grey beads all strung at different lengths. This dress, whilst lovely, can be a bit 'blocky' so it's nice to wear something long to break it up a bit.
