Day 194 - Natural bead necklace

I'm not sure what these beads are made of but they're a really interesting mix of greens, creams and browns. This necklace is a bit too long (and comically as I'm wearing this with a low vest it also looks like I am semi-naked in this photo (I assure you I'm not!)). I don't wear it much but the details on the beads mean it's a good one to play with and look at!

Day 185 - very long necklace!

This is a charity shop purchase and its so long! I have doubled it up as it is today, but it would be swinging by my knees if I wore it full length! Its on antique brass chain and then its got pale pink and pale green pearls and then every so often a teal glass bead - a rather random selection of colours which is why I'm wearing it with black!

Day 178 - Oliver Bonas multistone butterfly necklace

I think this was my first ever piece from Oliver Bonas, it was years ago but I really love it. Its made up of different gemstones but they are all quite natural shades so this is a really versatile piece that works with most outfits. Plus I like the fact that its not uniform and there's a random butterfly halfway down one side!

Day 161 - glass bead earrings

I made these from some of the beads that were left-over from the necklace I wore yesterday. You can really see the detail in the bead in this photo and I do think it looks just like a boiled sweet!! Mmmm, sweets...!

Day 160 - multi-coloured necklace

I made this a few years ago using some stones from an old bracelet my mum gave me. I like the fact the bigger beads look a little bit like boiled sweets.
Its a nice tactile necklace - good for playing with in meetings!
