I've seen so many butterfly, floral or bird print dresses these last few days and its inspired my jewellery as you can probably tell!
I decided to wear this today after wearing my butterfly yesterday - maybe there might be some florals over the weekend! I made it using the supplies from Smitten Beads (again!) and think its perfect for this lovely sunny weather we're having.

You see! And he didn't even read the post when I said I liked them. Scary or what. He's a keeper. Although I do have to say I didn't realise online that they are so tiny in the flesh - they're super small. But I love them.
Today is my birthday, yay me! And what is also quite random is that without having read this post on my blog, the Husband went out and bought me my presents from Oliver Bonas. He got me this lovely necklace and then the earrings I am wearing tomorrow - you'll see why its random then! I was lucky to get lots of lovely presents and a lot of them were jewellery related which is great seeing as I'm not supposed to be buying any!
I made this bracelet using some pearls and another of the bird pendants. It's a nice simple piece that makes me smile when I wear it and as its pearls its pretty neutral, plus I can use it to dress up an outfit!
I made this yesterday actually! I got the birds in bulk from a seller on eBay and the chain I bought in Brighton. I was bored last night so had a bit of a play and made a few things, including a matching bracelet to go with this necklace and some other pieces I may wear soon!
I think the bird pendant is really cute and it makes me smile and that's what I really like about jewellery - how it can perk you up if you're feeling a bit poo. And it gives me the opportunity to get both bird and poo in the same post: WIN!
