Day 296 - 302 and Shop of the Week

We've broken the 300 mark!! I'm really excited about this as it means the end is in sight but it is freaking me out slightly that I have more than 300 pieces of jewellery! There are no rings this week you'll be glad to hear. This week I've been rooting through some old necklaces so there are quite a few really old pieces but it was nice to stumble upon them.

My Shop of the Week this week goes to Debenhams, and specifically Jon Richard. Their lovely PR team found my blog and really liked it so they sent me some bits and bobs that I'm going to be wearing between now and the end of the year. As you know I do love a bit of costume jewellery and I think if you want something on trend and a bit blingy then you can't really go wrong for the party season. Go check them out!

From top to bottom - black wooden bead necklace (think this was free with a magazine?), Simple three drop crystal necklace (maybe from a charity shop), gold square string necklace (definitely from a charity shop!), long silver shell necklace (made by me using materials from Smitten Beads), pearl bracelet made out of a long pearl necklace (not sure where this is from, silver and blue earrings (from Sam Ubhi, a present from the hubby), and long wooden multi-bead necklace (this might be from Wallis but its around 10 years old!)

Day 289 - 295 Summary and Shop of the Week

This week sees the end of my ring marathon, at last! If this challenge has taught me anything it's that I really do have way too much jewellery for my own good.

My Shop of the Week this week is good old H Samuels. A lot of my rings are simple cheap solitaires and I think if you're a young woman and want to get a bit of bling without spending a lot of money then the high street jewllers like H Samuel are a good place to start. they're got some great rings under £40.

So, top to bottom and left to right we have: simple opal ring, twisted solitaire (from H Samuel), square aquamarine solitaire, square amethyst solitaire, square garnet solitaire (all bought from same shop in Bournemouth), all three worn as the one stacked ring, and (a non-ring item) wooden black and gold necklace from a charity shop.

Day 282 - 288 Summary and Shop of the Week

Rings, rings and more rings!! From Top to bottom, left to right: silver wobbly ring, silver wishbone ring, simple solitaire from F Hinds, three stone ring from boutique in Bournemouth, square small solitaire, silver and crystal band (present from parents) and my lovely grandmothers wedding ring!! (Apologies for the formatting of this post, I'm not sure what's going on with Blogger!)

My Shop of the Week is the ever fab ASOS. I am very much in love with this Fox necklace but I often jsut go on the site to get some inspiration and to see whats out there.

Day 275 - 281 Summary and Shop of the Week

Yep, more rings!! I'm having some issues with the new format, I hope its not looking too crazy on your screens. My Shop of the Week this week is Debenhams. They have lots of different conscessions in there and its pretty impossible not to find something you'll love. I'm really liking how delicate and simple this lovely bangle is.
My rings this week are from Top to bottom, left to right: simple silver and crystal solitaire (not sure where this is from), aquamarine two stone chunky ring from antique store in Godalming, simple twist solitaire from H Samuel, wobbly silver ring from Wallis, amethyst solitaire, square solitaire (not sure where it's from) and chunky mother of pearl ring from antique store in Islington.
